2023 has truly been the year of AI. Whether you’re a tech-savvy person or a total stranger to the newest technologies, chances are big you’ve heard about it.
For me, ChatGPT has become my trusty companion, integrating into both my work-related and personal tasks. From helping in research, to enhancing my blog articles and drafting emails. I do think it’s important to add that I treat this as a tool to enhance things, rather than my source of inspiration or substitute to get my work done. The results are also visible in the way you use it.
One of my most fun and enjoyable activity lately with it has been using GPT’s tool DALL-E (now integrated in GPT4). It will create images based on your description and is a way to express creativity in a matter of seconds. To give you an example, if I type now “a group of animals having a tea party on the moon”, it will create this:
So, what’s the significance of this technological step for me? I’ve worked on countless projects and concepts in the past, creating business plans and roadmaps for new concepts and businesses. Pointless to say that I always enjoyed more the creative parts rather than the long and boring spreadsheets. And this late tool has given me the opportunity to play with it.

The first idea was one about a product brand for wood scented products which you can use in your home. Every time I’m going for a walk and smell the burned wood from neighbors, I get a feeling of comfort. I love the smell and it brings back a lot of good memories. Not meant for the skin, such as lotions or perfumes — but ambient only.

CASA MIO — Comfort Deli & Trattoria
Being passionate about food I’ve always had an idea to create a place where all my favourite foods and vibes would combine in a place. Being born and raised in the Jewish community in Antwerp I’ve grown up with Kleinblatt products, a kosher bakery. My passion for simple Italian food is also something that is very present and I always loved cooking a good lasagna at home. The “hot comfort sandwiches” will be also part of it as Belgium is a cold country, and there is nothing better to fill your belly.

The Next Steps
Honestly, I haven’t really thought about it. I also don’t think it’s that important. What I love is creating and engaging in this creative process. Whether it’s for myself, someone that has an idea and needs a hand or just for fun, it’s about the activity itself and not the result.
